Dance Club at
River City Science Academy!
DanceMania will be offering on-campus classes weekly at
RCSA from 2:45pm - 4:00pm!
Dance Club will take place at RCSA Elementary (Beach Blvd.) on Tuesdays, and RCSA Intracoastal (San Pablo) on Wednesdays.

Students will receive instruction in four style of dance on a weekly rotation:
​
Week A: Ballet - Incorporates basic ballet technique; Center work, ballet combinations, leaps and turn.
Week B: Tap - Incorporates basic tap skills. Exploration of rhythm and musicality through center work, across the floor movement, and tap combinations.
Week C: Jazz/Hip Hop - Basic jazz skills, use of isolation and motor skills, and jazz combinations. Hip hop includes a fusion of different styles such as popping, locking, and break dancing.
Week D: Acting and Drama - Basic acting skills and structured improvisation; Theatre and production skills will be taught.

$180 per semester

Tuition is paid on a semesterly basis and is due at the time of registration.
​
For the purpose of this program, dancers are encouraged to have comfortable clothes as well as ballet and tap shoes, but it is not required at this time.
